We are an Austrian-based real estate company listed at the Vienna Stock Exchange and active in Germany, Austria and CEE of course. Some years ago, we had a huge office development project in Bucharest, Romania. From the very beginning, our relation with our general contractor, which was a reputable company, or we thought it was a reputable company, was very tense and complicated. In the middle of the project, we out of the sudden faced claims of more than 20 million euros, which corresponded to almost 50% of the entire construction costs. So this was a crazy case. So this was the time when I decided to involve a litigation lawyer, not a construction lawyer, but a litigation lawyer, to prepare for the unavoidable court case. Fortunately, we've never had any construction cases before in Romania. But unfortunately, at that time, I had no proper lawyer. So I had to search for a proper lawyer. And I asked peers, I asked other lawyers from Romania where to go. And the answer was always go to Zamfirescu. They are the ones that will fight for you, and you will be happy at the end of the day. So I did it. I called them. And my first contact was impressive. I met Cosmin Vasile and Violeta Saranciuc, the team. And I was impressed by their personalities and their professionalism, and of course, the way how they would approach to defend ourselves. So we immediately found an agreement. And the end of the story is that we won the case. It was a big victory for me and for the team, I think. And I have to say that all these years of cooperation were characterized by an extraordinary and proactive case management by the team, by an incredible court performance. And apart from that, it was also characterized by a very, very good personal relationship, which is very important for a long-term cooperation. At no time of our cooperation, I felt that I've chosen the wrong team or that some team members would not be fit for the case. On the contrary, I've never worked with such a great team, and it was really an honor to work with them and to spend so many time at court and wherever and to finally succeed.
