Cotman landscape palette and small Hake brush watercolor painting.

Even though I wet the palette it’s still a challenge to get enough paint from half pans. When I used the fan brush with stiff bristles I was able to pull more paint off of the pans. This is a nice set of colors for painting landscapes, rarely do you see Payne’s grey. The only addition they could’ve made was light red. Colors are: Cad yellow, yellow ochre, sap green, ult blue, Payne’s grey, burnt umber, burnt sienna, and alizarin crimson. Also I’m using the artists loft cotton paper. It’s more expensive but when you have a coupon it’s less expensive than some competing brands. Michael’s artist’s loft series 3 cotton paper. Thanks for watching.
