But is their Total VPN worth getting? ------------------------------------------------ 🔒Security and privacy: ------------------------------------------------ I started my Total VPN review by checking security basics. There’s industry standard encryption which is the main thing that shields your internet traffic. I also found a solid privacy policy. That said, I’d like to see a security audit in the future, for some added transparency. ------------------------------------------------ 🏎️ Servers and performance ------------------------------------------------ There aren’t that many servers in total, especially if I compare Total VPN by TotalAV to current top VPN providers. Because of that, I was a little skeptical about their performance capabilities. TotalAV VPN retained around 65% of my original speed on average. For comparison, NordVPN usually retains around 90%, while ExpressVPN usually shows around 80% speed retention. Then what do those 65% mean exactly? Well, it’s plenty for general browsing, you shouldn’t experience any major slow-downs – at least I didn’t notice any during my Total VPN review. ------------------------------------------------ 📺 Streaming and torrenting ------------------------------------------------ I wouldn’t recommend Total VPN for these activities anyway.
