Due to the elevated LDL and triglyceride levels, it is common that patients with this condition can have Increased risk of several other conditions including obesity, diabetes, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and premature coronary heart disease. The signs and symptoms of this condition are due to the elevated triglycerides and cholesterol levels and include xanthelasma among other signs.
