Motorcyclist spotted speeding at 127 mph during wild police chase

Ricky Catchpole, 33, was riding his Yamaha R1 motorcycle on the A5 in Milton Keynes in April 2024 when he was captured by police travelling at 127mph. His motorcycle was displaying no numberplate at the time. When officers tried to stop him, he took off at incredible speed, leading to a police chase. Catchpole fell off the bike when trying to take a tight corner at a lower speed. He was convicted at court following a trial and was hit with a month's driving ban and a fine and costs of over £5,000.
