Darjeeling, the land of Dorje, is not just a pretty little Himalayan town in India, but also a fascinating one with colourful history, unique demography, and the home of the world famous Darjeeling Tea! The Darjeeling tea is so fascinating that its flavour, aroma and complexity changes with each season. From a very subtle yet flavourful spring tea, to the nutty and layered summer tea, to bold and textured autumn tea - Darjeeling tea is so unique that it's truly the Champagne of Tea. As a Tea Artist and a Tea Traveller, it has been one of my long term dreams to showcase Darjeeling through the lens of tea, tea making and tea history, and how its picturesque nature, beautiful nooks and corners, sumptuous cuisine, colourful festivals and friendly people add to thiskaleidoscope and make this a journey of one's sensorial exploration and experience.
