The Suffolk County Alliance of Chambers recently held its final quarterly meeting of 2025 and were fortunate to have been joined by two of Suffolk’s finest mayors, Paul Pontieri of Patchogue Village and Mike Lavorata of Lindenhurst Village, and Assemblywoman Rebecca Kassay. They individually addressed a room filled with many of Suffolk’s Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit and small business leaders, who continue to keep Suffolk’s communities moving forward. Here are highlights from the event and remarks from our elected officials and additional featured speakers: Sarah Lansdale, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning; Kelly Murphy, Executive Director and CEO, Suffolk County IDA; Eric Alexander, Founder of Long Island Main Street Alliance and Executive Director of Vision Long Island Alexander Caro, Business Development Manager, Arrow Security; Liz Custodio and Jeff Dorschuck, Business Banking Regional Manager with M&T Bank; and John Tolson, Sugar Sweet Treats, talking about his journey from incubator to a flourishing small business. Special Thanks to St. Joseph’s University for sponsoring the event and providing breakfast, Standard Advisors Group, and to our program sponsor Discover Long Island.
