🇮🇸 WE SAW THE AURORA! Ring Road FINALE & Snaefellsnes Gems | Iceland Day 6/7 The PERFECT ending to our Iceland Ring Road adventure! After an incredible Day 5, Day 6 brought us face-to-face with an UNEXPECTED & BEAUTIFUL AURORA BOREALIS display dancing in the clear night sky! ✨ See the magic in the previous vlog and join us for the GRAND FINALE! This vlog covers Day 6 exploring the stunning SNAEFELLSNES PENINSULA: the iconic Kirkjufell mountain (Game of Thrones!), the dramatic Djúpalónssandur beach with its shipwreck history, charming Arnarstapi cliffs, Rauðfeldsgjá gorge, the famous Búðakirkja black church, and a hopeful (but unsuccessful) seal watch at Ytri Tunga. We also visit the lovely Hraunfossar & Barnafoss waterfalls. On Day 7, we complete the GOLDEN CIRCLE at ÞINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK, literally walking between two tectonic plates! We see Öxarárfoss waterfall and wrap up our trip with highlights of REYKJAVIK, including Hallgrímskirkja and the famous hot dogs!
