Today's cute kawaii visitors in Mt. Yatsugatake: July 10th - October 17th, 2024 One week after the second brood of Daurian redstarts fledged, three chicks came to bathe! However, I only saw the chicks until the end of July... After that, only the adult birds came to bathe for a while. At the end of September, a male juvenile, moulting into its first winter plumage, came to bathe! I'm so glad it survived! Then, on October 17th, neither the adults nor the juveniles appeared anymore.
