We venture out to Whangamomona today with the quad and 2 wheeler to drive the Old Whangamomona road to Aotuhia Station and see the bridge to somewhere. The road has had major upgrades and the ground is nice and dry for the summer season so it's the perfect time to head down there for a drive if you're new to 4wd-ing. There's lots of little tracks and places to have a play around along the way too. In winter this track is very muddy and slippery. Just be aware that the track can get quite busy at times so keep an eye out for other road users.
