The box opens at the top with the main unit packed between bespoke moulded polystyrene with removable tape seals holding the draw closed. Everything has a plastic sleeve for protection and the instruction manual is on the top when you open it. Once everything was unpacked I washed the frying pan and support plate then had a good read through the manual. The instruction manual is multilingual with the first six pages covering English. I found the instructions adequate for setting it up and giving the information needed to get started, although I would have liked a bit more detail and perhaps some recopies being a product endorsed by a cooking show. First impressions: the first thing I noticed was the plug being a two pin to three pin conversion plug, I am really not keen on these as they take up more socket room, and in my opinion are ugly. The main unit looks a nice clean design with the logo sitting on the front of the silver handle, and once turned on the touch control is nice and responsive along with being easy to navigate and adjust. I first tried this out with some Chicken legs and using the pre-set options, these turned out perfectly with a nice crisp skin and cooked right the way through. I then tested it out cooking some sausages setting a manual time and temperature, and found although I had overestimated the time needed it was a simple case of pulling the draw out to check on how they were cooking, and the unit instantly resumes once you replace the draw. Overall I think this Air Fryer works well, it is simple to use with a easy to navigate menu system, the stop and resume makes it easy to check on things while they are cooking, and the draw and support plate are very quick and easy to clean. I have cooked several items in this since it arrived and everything has turned out perfectly. I really dislike the plug system and would have liked to have seen a more detailed manual but apart from that in my opinion it is a good solid air fryer.
