GRID – kinetic installation by Christopher Bauder and Robert Henke

GRID is an immersive installation by light artist Christopher Bauder and electronic musician Robert Henke. Their audiovisual collaboration is a powerful stimulation of senses and imagination. Bauder’s kinetic lights moving in horizontal and vertical lines with an absolute precision merge with the synthesized sound by Henke and open a gate to the outer world. In September 2018, GRID became a headliner of Volvo Art Sessions in Zurich. As suggested by the ‘Human Meets Digital – Shaping New Realities’ theme of the Art Sessions, this audiovisual journey blurred boundaries between art and technology and brought together innovation, art, and design.
