Watch a Bunchero and Torcedor work together as part of a team to roll cigars. Traditionally a cigar is rolled in teams of two: a Bunchero and either a Rolero (roller) or a Torcedor (A highly skilled Rolero). The Buncheros create the bunch using a Lieberman machine and the Torcedor applies the wrapper and cap to create the finished product. Notice that the Bunchero uses the Entubado method common to Nicaragua. It's claimed to create better air flow and even burn lines. It's common to see men as Buncheros and women as Roleros or Torcedores. Here we see the Torcedor smooth at the wrapper to ensure that it is smoothly applied to the cigar. She'll cut excess pieces off by experience only. Much of what they do is through hand feel and experience - the only measurements are when she places the top of the cigar against a stopper and cuts the remaining foot off to create the exact length needed. These men and women produce between 400-500 cigars per day. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "Top 10 Cigars of 2016 - Cigar of the Year Awards" • Top 10 Cigars of 2016 - Cigar of the Year ... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
