Its centerpiece offering is a subtly flavoured small grain rice biryani cooked with the leghorn chicken variety, used typically for egg laying and therefore stronger in its texture. We tried this and also a slightly spicier mutton biryani in addition to a couple of other dishes. Followed by a stop at the local bakery and a slightly indulgent tea stop streetside in Kannur.
