Forthcoming Stopadoodledoo Group Ride: Sunday 7th November. Garburn The time has come. Time to do a group ride. Urgh. Anyway, I don't want to be leading a group of people down silly footpaths high up in the Mountains, so the plan is to meet at Wheelbase Cycles in Staveley at 9:30am on Sunday 7th November (2021, in case anyone is watching this next year) and head out over Garburn Pass, followed by Green Quarter and HP Plantation. Garburn is rocky and loose but not too crazy; anyone with intermediate skills will be absolutely fine on it although it may phase beginners a bit. It will be wet. Even if the weather is dry, it will be wet as Garburn always has water running down it. Green Quarter is a mixture of singletrack and muddy puddles. Hopefully the video says all you need to know but here's the full address of where we are meeting: Mill Yard, Staveley, Cumbria, LA8 9LR Staveley is pretty close to Junction 6 of the M6, with a major trunk road going all the way basically.
