He has composed dozens of original songs that showcase his soaring vocals and energetic, elegant banjo playing. His recent album Tiddukla (2021, Hivemind Records) received critical praise for its complex rhythms inspired by his native south Morocco. A true multi-instrumentalist, Wargui recorded all the parts himself. He has performed across Europe and North Africa, with appearances at the Clandestino Festival in Sweden, La Cave 12 in Switzerland, Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival, and the Goethe Institute in Tunisia.
