There's a lot to introduce about our new place in the mountains of Aichi, Japan. So this still counts as a "quick" introduction to many things about the house and area. This video was made during some of the initial chaos of moving into such a place, and trying to catch up on some major maintenance, so please forgive any production issues :) After a fairly fateful and quick process we not live in a traditional Japanese folk house, or kominka, in the mountains of rural Japan. In Japan they call this kind of area 'inaka' and it's a very different lifestyle to the city. Life here is closer to nature and more traditional, and the people are more like people in the countryside from wherever you are from (probably).
