Don't forget to measure the distance between the holes on your button and convert into MM. When you select the 'sew on button' from the menu (or select the proper stitch number), don't forget to adjust the distance in your settings to be the correct MM to sew on the foot. Be sure to slowly turn your hand wheel to line up the holes in the button and make sure that the machine will actually stitch inside the holes.
