Having cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her early 20s, the tables turned and ruined her beautifully laid-out career at the flick of an eye when she met an accident. With her spinal cord severely injured, which rendered her quadriplegic, she chose not to yield to her fate. Today she talks about her unending fight against the stereotyped responses to the disabled and how she coped up with these mental adversities more than the physical ones. She's been the crusader of Disability Rights. She's also the Founder and CEO of Swabhiman (NGO) and Anjali (an all inclusion festival), the names empowering disabled people.
