Through this process they discovered many similarities in how they approach their work, telling stories, and engaging audiences. They were not strangers to collaboration—Caroline relies on the work of archivists and historians to access centuries-old whaling log data, and Svenja collects data from biologists and satellites to study marine heatwaves.
