Gujarat Rains: Heavy Downpour Washed Out Daily Activities In Ahemdabad | Latest News | English News

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, saw major waterlogging due to the heavy downpours that pounded the city, putting an end to daily activity. Due to the constant rain, the district administration has ordered that all AMC schools be closed on Monday. Since there has been continued significant rain in the city, underpass roadways have become inundated. Around 1,500 people had to be evacuated from low-lying areas as a result of the relentless rain that pounded south and central Gujarat. The Dang, Navsari, and Valsad districts of Gujarat are expected to see heavy to extremely heavy rainfall during the course of the following five days. Police officers have been brought in to help with the evacuation, and so far no fatalities have been noted.
