ABOUT WILLY THE WOLF: Willy the Wolf was an adult oriented live show created by legendary WB animator Bob Clampett that aired broadcasting five days a week on KTTV Los Angeles from 1953-1955. Much like Clampett's other programs, puppets were heavily featured along with other special guests. These episode are 30-minutes in length episode. This show featured many of the voice actors from the Saturday episodes of Time for Beany. ABOUT THIS PRESERVATION: This episode is part of an ongoing preservation project to digitize over 1,000 Time for Beany kinescope episodes before they deteriorate beyond repair. Many of these films are severely degraded, and some are currently being treated at UCLA's film preservation laboratory. Each scan costs approximately $150 and represents a race against time to save this irreplaceable piece of television history. This channel features exclusive scans made directly from original kinescope negatives - many of which haven't been seen since their original broadcast.
