In the Meiji era, 70 people lived on this island. At that time, the industry that supported the island's economy was Wakame Seaweed fishing, and the Wakame seaweed was of such high quality that it was used in high-class restaurants. However, as the quality of the ocean water changed around the 1960s, the wakame harvest declined, and the island's population began to decline as people who had lived on the island began to leave.(However, they now catch Wakame seaweed. The water quality of the Seto Inland Sea today is said to be too clean and beautiful!) After that, there was only one elderly couple living on the island, However, They were injured and hospitalized at an off-island hospital, which led to Matsushima being temporarily uninhabited. However, Mr.Takuji Wakimura wanted to "bring back life to this island," and set a goal of opening a guest house in 2023. He plans to open that guest house after May 2023. After watching that NHK program, I wanted to support Mr. Wakimura and focus on this "Matsushima," so I immediately went to shoot a video. Matsushima is a smaller island than Koyojima, where my mother was born and grew up, and I think it is an island that does not have many attractions, However, I was certain that the sunrise, noon and sunset views from this island would be beautiful. So I tried to express the beautiful scenery of Matsushima that changes with time in this video. By the way, I hear you can catch a 75cm class yellowtail(Hamachi) right here in the Matsushima area! The island of Matsushima is shown in this video.    • Video   「松島」は、岡山県倉敷市下津井の沖に浮かぶ、人口わずか1人の小さな島です。 私は、2022年11月30日にNHKで放送された番組である「離島で発見!ラストファミリー」を観た際に、この「松島」を知りました。 https://www.nhk.jp/p/ritou-family/ts/... この島でたった1人で暮らす島民は、脇村拓嗣さんという男性で、年齢は26歳（2022年11月時点）。日本国内の人口が減少しているローカル都市に移住して、さまざまな活動を行う「地域おこし協力隊」をきっかけに、2022年春に松島へ移住してきました。 明治時代には、この島に70人の人が暮らしていたそうです。当時、島の経済を支えていた産業はワカメ漁で、高級料亭で使用されるほど、良質なワカメが獲れていたそうです。しかし、1960年代頃に海の水質が変化したことで、ワカメの収穫量が減少し、島に住んでいた人たちが離島し始め、人口が減っていったそうです。（今ではワカメが獲れるそうです。現在の瀬戸内海の水質は綺麗すぎるほど綺麗であると言われています） その後、この島には1組の老夫婦だけが住んでいたそうですが、怪我をされ島外の病院に入院されたことがきっかけで、一時は無人島になってしまいました。しかし、脇村拓嗣さんは「この島に活気を取り戻したい」という思いがあり、2023年に民宿を開業する目標を掲げました。その民宿は2023年5月以降の開業を目指しているそうです。 そのNHKの番組を観た私は、脇村さんを応援したくなると共に、この「松島」に焦点を当てたくなり、すぐさま撮影に向かいました。私の母が生まれ育った小与島よりも小さな島で、見どころも多くない島であると思いますが、この島から望める朝日や昼の景色、夕日は間違いなく綺麗であることは分かっていたので、今回の動画では、時間と共に変化する松島の美しい景色を表現してみました。 ちなみに、この松島周辺では75センチ級のハマチが獲れるそうですよ！ 今後、民宿が完成したら、興味ある方はぜひ訪れてみてください。 松島の島内の様子はこの動画で紹介されています。    • Video   Music License : www.musicbed.com Tracklist: 01.
