Step 9 of my 1996 Honda Accord timing belt and water pump replacement series. In this video, I drop the engine slightly from the driver side to get better access to the timing components. In this step I: Support the engine from the oil pan using a floor jack Disconnect the alternator wiring harness for extra clearance Remove the driver-side engine mount (3 bolts) Raise the engine again to break loose the camshaft pulley nut Prepare for the camshaft seal replacement in a later step This series is recorded slowly and in individual steps, mostly for my own recording purposes, but anyone can follow along at their own pace.
