Sometimes as a mental health therapist you are going to find that some clients seem to just want to vent. There's not a lot of forward progress happening towards goals and they may even seem stuck in a cycle of venting. What do you do? Is this still therapeutic? Today I'm talking about my take on this as a therapist and how venting can still be incredibly helpful when working with clients in therapy or counseling.
