Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've been brought to our ER today by an ambulance after an accident. Once you are able to breathe on your own, your care team will get you propped up and start an IV. They will get you hooked up to monitors and also insert a chest tube to help you breathe before taking you into an operating room. Some liberties have been taken with this one since lol, you wouldn't be casually chatting with a pneumothorax but I wanted to do some stuff to sort of help with any anxiety. So, I know it's not perfectly realistic but it's ASMR. 0:00 Intro 0:09 In and out of consciousness, AMBU bag 0:36 Pen light eye exam 1:33 Giving you a nasal canula 2:35 Checking for any head injuries, scalp exam 2:49 Starting your IV and drawing blood 5:07 Chest exam, heartbeat 6:00 Cutting open your shirt / putting on sterile gloves 7:43 Inserting a chest tube 12:40 Putting electrodes on you 12:51 Suturing your thoracostomy 18:31 Washing hands, changing gloves 19:28 Checking your temperature 19:52 Abdominal exam, percussion and palpation 22:36 Abdominal ultrasound 23:05 EKG 26:51 Getting your tubes and wires taped down and secured 28:51 Putting a gown on you Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation, sleep aid and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
