The YMOO audio transmitter operates at 2.4ghz and is able to transmit up to 24bit/192khz signals, providing audiophile-quality signals. It can cover distances up to 100 metres (about 328 feet), and when powered on connects within seconds. It can transmit from any device, such as a laptop or desktop computer, a phone, etc etc..and its receiver can be connected to powered speakers, a stereo, a tv - anything that has audio inputs and that can play audio. I use it from my laptop to the NAD 7175PE, in order to avoid a long and cumbersome cable in my already cluttered space. The sound-quality is almost - if not totally - indistinguishable from a hard-wired connection; it sounds excellent. The only caveat I've noticed so far is that the receiver is a little senstive to interference from other signals. However, after moving it just a short distance from where it originally sat, I was able to mitigate the problem fairly well. ______________________________ Edit: In this video, I mentioned a DJ's Amazon review, and 'corrected' what I first stated about him sending the signal to another level in the bar where he was working, to 'another room'. I was incorrect with my correction. It was, in fact, on another level; in fact, it was two levels up. He had to mimic what was being played on the first floor up on a dance floor on the third floor. So, the signal easily penetrates walls and travels a significant distance. ______________________________ Comes with: Transmitter Receiver 2 x 3.5mm stereo to RCA left and right cables 2 x USB A to 5v power plugs 2 x USB A Wall warts 0:00 intro 2:40 the transmitter-receiver I picked - YMOO 3:14 arrival and first thoughts on the YMOO 3:42 the setup 4:24 pleasantly surprised 4:57 range 5:58 pairing and latency 6:36 caveat 8:29 super-quick demo I saw the following link after-the-fact of making this video: https://top5best.com/wireless-audio-t...
