Epoxy grout can be scary 😧 It's tough to know when to start the clean up process. Each Brand of Epoxy sets up a bit differently, but the method in which to start removing the excess grout is the same: Use a dry finger and touch the grout joint, if you can easily pull out the grout; Waite another 10 minutes What your looking for is the ability to mold the grout without pulling a lot of the grout out of joint Its always best to test an area by lightly washing with a wet scrubby pad, if you can work the joint and not pull anything out of joint, your ready to go Ardex WA is quite a different grout than most other epoxies.
