Dr. Ayesha Khaliq explains what is mean by Endometrial Uterine Biopsy An endometrial biopsy is a medical approach that includes a tissue sample of the lining of the uterus. The tissue consequently undergoes a histologic evaluation which implements the physician in forming a diagnosis. An endometrial biopsy is summarized under a microscope for cancer and other cell irregularities. The procedure generally takes 10 to 15 minutes.
