EUS-guided gastroenterostomy with the Hot-Axios LAMS
PRESENTATION This is a case of EUS-guided gastroenterostomy for refractory duodenal stenosis, due to an alcoholic chronic pancreatitis, after many endoluminal stenting and balloon dilatation. We place a transluminal AXIOS stent (20x10mm) after 19Ge puncture and over a 0.035 guidewire. We observe a rapid resolution of the duodenal occlusive syndrom. TECHNIQUE : First endoscopic time which show the duodenal stenosis. We injection water with contrast solution. We switch then to the EUS and proceed a puncture throught the gastric wall into the distal duodenum. We place a 19Ge guidewire and create an gastroduodenostomy with a 20mm Hot-Axios device. At the end of the procedure we made an endoscopic control of the stomach which show the LAMS in good place.
