Hello and welcome to CanIndian Channel. In todays video I am going to review a book called Creativity INC by Ed Catmull. The book sets out to explain how Pixar became one of the worlds most loved filmmaker. Its cofounder Ed Catmul charts the companies rise in tandem with his own, from his childhood dream of becoming Disney animator to his current position at the president of Disney and Pixar Animation Studio. What I really liked about this is book is that it ties in completing stories about effective leadership. Catmill separates the book into four parts 1. Getting started – Where he explains on Pixar was created 2. Building and sustaining – Where the emphasis was after Pixar enjoyed success with Toy Story and largest IPO in 1995 how were they able to sustain the growth. 3. Testing what we know – Which is mainly the mistakes Pixar made 4. Merger with Disney.
