We're flying repeat missions now, at the LU Agriculture Research Station. This video shows how we take a total of over 1500 images from each mission and stitch them together so that we can run analysis on the field. This will help us to monitor how plant stress affects whole crops, how long different applications take, and we're starting to build vegetation spectral libraries. In this video, we use Agisoft Photoscan to build out orthomosaics so that we can classify the imagery as one. You will be able to see our process, settings and the result of stitching all those 10-band images together! We test the new #MicaSenseDual 10-band image sensor to monitor crop health in Thunder Bay. This was the first working mission with the sensor and we'll be following up with what the data looks like and some of the derived products that you could get from using the MicaSense.
