Momma Makes A Great Depression Meal 😳 Creamy Onion Macaroni! (It’s too good!)

I’ve copied and pasted below exactly what you emailed us so everyone has YOUR exact recipe haha ⭐️Ingredients • 1 box elbow macaroni • 3-4 large sweet onions diced • 2 cream cheese bricks (16 oz) • 1 stick of butter (you’ll use half and have extra as needed) • salt and pepper ⭐️Instructions 1. Boil the water and cook the macaroni until done. Set aside, it’s best to keep the macaroni warm. 2. Heat half a stick of butter in a large pan. 3. Add the onions to the butter. Add in a healthy pinch of salt and a smaller amount of pepper. 4. Cook the onions until they are translucent and some of them start to brown. Add more butter as needed to keep them from sticking to the pan. Take off of heat. 5. Add one brick of cream cheese to a bowl and stir to soften. 6. Add the onions to the cream cheese and stir. The heat from the onions should make the cream cheese easier to stir. 7. Cut the second block of cream cheese into 4 equal chunks and add in one chuck of the cream cheese at a time to the onion bowl to make the mixture thicker. Taste and season with more salt as needed. 8. Add the cream cheese to the noodles in spoonfuls. You want the noodles coated but not swimming in the cream cheese mixture. You may end up with extra cream cheese/onion mix depending on the size of your macaroni. 9. Add the macaroni mixture to a large baking dish (9x13 usually works well). 10.
