I've been playing this song since Chris Thile released it on his amazing 2001 album "Not All Who Wander Are Lost." I recently polished up the slow first half and recorded a short video of it for a mandolin group I'm in. (This is the first section of this video.) I received a request to play it super slowly with a focus on the left hand, so that other people can learn how I play it. The second part of the video (starting at 2:32) is the slow motion version where I try to show which frets and fingers I'm using. I hope it ends up clear enough to learn from.
