Intertrochanteric fracture with broken lateral wall is reconstructed by many additional implants to make it a stable fixation. Here a method of modified Ender nailing, with specific contouring and optional cannulated cancellous screw, is described with illustrations. This method is named as "Forget Lateral Wall" fixation as there is no open reconstruction of lateral wall carried out. Principles of this technique is explained in detail especially 'Press-Fit' forces. The causes and functions of two sagittal plane and three coronal plane contours given to the Ender nails are delineated well. Absence of inherent anteversion in all conventional implants and a unique possibility of contouring Ender nails with inherent anteversion is depicted with animation and images. In unstable intertrochanteric fracture, reduction of fracture is often accepted as per conventional implant while in this technique assembly of Ender Nails is placed as per best reduction, and that is a correct way. The most impressive advantage of recovery with full functions, as a result of sparing all soft tissue attachments of proximal femur is shown by various illustrations. The newly coined phrase, 'Happy Fixation' is elaborated with features at the end. Please try this method and send your comments. Let us all contribute to improve and make it more reproducible.
