H.O.R. Super Sirex Adrian, MO 8/4/21

Recorded on 8/4/21. Went to Adrian after work for their evening test so I could meet up with everyone with the KCMO group. So I finally got to hear this beast of a siren and it was insanely loud. Since I didn’t have hearing protection with me and I went underneath the siren, all I can say is that it’s plenty loud enough to wake the dead! Yes my hearing was affected for the next couple of days after this, so if you come to this siren for tests hearing protection is strongly encouraged! This 50hp siren is the loudest siren in Missouri with the only exception of Kahoka, MO having two Sentry 40V2Ts in the northeastern part of the state. So I am re-uploading this video many months later because of some liability concerns that started appearing after I uploaded my original video of this siren from the KCMO meetup. First off, someone had asked me for permission to use some of my footage which I granted it to them but we didn’t need two of the exact same videos on YouTube, so I have done more editing to make my video different from the others. Second, there are many other videos from the other fellow siren enthusiasts from the meetup with valid activation tones including mine but I cut out 90% of the tones. Also not long after I posted my original video, there was an exposure of activation frequencies so I decided to play it safe and I removed my original video. Now it might be cool to have activation tones in a siren video but it comes at a high risk as anyone could simply record those tones and then play them over the same radio frequency used to activate these sirens. This is exactly why I don’t use scanners in my siren videos because of the high risk of anyone potentially copying the tones and hacking a siren system. I do not own a scanner as it is.
