The Best Brussel Sprouts Recipe EVER! Crispy! That’s all I have to say about this delicious recipe. Super Easy. 5 simple ingredients. I’m a believer that this recipe will turn you into a fan. I hated the vegetable 5 years ago BUT now, I absolutely cannot get enough. I cook it whenever it’s in season and definitely order it anytime it’s on menu when dining out. Trust Me! You will become a spokesperson for the Brussels Sprouts Fan Club Too! Crispy Brussel Sprouts Ingredients •1 pound brussels sprouts, cleaned, trimmed and sliced thinly (buy pre-shredded sprouts, a food processor or thinly slice with a knife) •2 Tablespoons oil – canola, olive oil, avocado, etc. •2-3 cloves garlic, minced •salt and pepper, to taste •juice from half of a lemon •1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino-Romano cheese Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. OR preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F. 2. Lightly Oil pan before use. This will prevent the sprouts from sticking. 3. Place the sliced brussels sprouts on a heavy rimmed baking sheet or air fryer sheet. Add garlic, drizzle with oil, and add salt and pepper to taste. Do not over oil the brussels sprouts. They will absorb the oil and become very greasy. 4. Mix everything with your hands to coat evenly, then spread them out in an even layer. Don't over crowd because you don't want them to steam. 3. Roast in the center of the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 8-10 minutes. This will make sure the vegetables are cooking evenly. OR roast in the center of your air fryer for 8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on the air fryer because there is a short window from crispy to “are these burned”! Plus every air fryer cooks differently. 5. When they’ve reached your desired crispiness, remove the pan from the air fryer / oven and let them cool for 3 to 5 minutes. Place brussels sprouts in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice and cheese.
