https://www.flexibleassembly.com/robo... For this project we designed a robotic solution for on site rail bonding of solar panels. This semi-automated process involved operators loading the solar panels onto the work cell conveyor. Once loaded they would index into the work area where the Fanuc robot applies adhesive pads and dispenses adhesive in a programmed pattern. After a quick automated tool change the robot picks and places the rails onto the adhesive, then retrieves the dispenser tool and starts over. While the solar panel indexes out of the work area rollers are used to push the rails down into the adhesive. Operators then help guide the finished panels out of the cell where they are loaded into box to be transported to the installation site. https://www.flexibleassembly.com/
