I started thinking about it, and I realized that the Native Manta Ray 12XT is one of the least talked about kayaks for under $1,000 but I have no idea why. This kayak tracks incredibly well on the water, is super comfortable to fish in, is stable to stand in, and overall is set up for any angler to fish in all day. As I thought about it, I believe one of the main reasons it is so underrated is because there are other kayaks for around the same price that have some accessories come stock on the rig. In my opinion, that shouldn't be the determining factor. Ultimately, I want all anglers to pick up what they feel they will be most comfortable in. The reason I really like the Manta Ray is because the body of the kayak itself is incredible. All the accessories can be added (which by the way, is a really fun process as well).
