I interviewed Dr. Matthew Kirschenbaum, professor of English and Digital Literature at the University of Maryland, to speak about his restoration of the HyperCard poetry of William Dickey with the Internet Archive. HyperCard was such a unique piece of software. RIP Bill Atkinson. Dickey, at 60, used Apple's Hypercard software to create two volumes of wonderful interactive poems in the late 80s (88-90) Volume 2 notably contained erotic interactive poems which played with the HyperCard's affordances to involve the reader in the course of desire.
