Follow-up Cystoscopy – NBI Highlighting Several Recurrences Unseen in White Light At first in the white light cystoscopy, a small area of recurrent papillomatosis is identified in connection to a scar tissue caused by previous resection. No other recurrences were seen in the first white light cystoscopy. In NBI several other small recurrences were identified because of higher contrast to the normal mucosa. These recurrences are visible in white light when the lesion is known and the scope is very close to the lesion. Patient Background: Female, age: 72 Reason for Cystoscopy: Follow-up of NMIBC Previous history of BC: LG, Ta, no previous CIS. Last recurrence 24 months ago. No previous BCG treatment.
