This video is a part of the series called Montana Geology: 41 Geosites for the 41st State. Each 360 video takes us on a short field trip to a location across Montana known for its geologic assets. The idea is that viewers experience these places with a guide (PhD Geologist) from the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology. During the video, you can look in any direction you want to check out these special places. The guide is there to point out key features whether they be rocks, soils, ice, faults, fossils or aspects of bodies of water that makes each place special. These experiences are meant to deepen our connection with the state of Montana and its natural beauty, to provide meaning to the landscape and inspire further exploration and understanding. In addition, you can click and drag the video with your mouse on your laptop or desktop computer to look anywhere you want.
