I am so annoyed about these Nvidia driver issues

I have been having the most annoying problems this week with my PC crashing. This has only started happening since I tested the Nvidia Asus Astral RTX 5090 in my system and then going back to my RTX 4090 after I had to return the newer Nvidia GPU. There's a known issue with Nvidia drivers on older cards, I made a video about it before and it's widespread enough that there are plenty of news articles about it (see below). For me it's been leading to black screen crashes when playing particular games like PUBG, Fortnite, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and others. It's also been getting worse, so much so that it's caused Davinci Resolve to crash while rendering videos too. I expected it could be other issues too maybe. So I swapped my PSU to a brand new one. Checked my 12vhpwr cables hadn't melted, checked for loose connections, updated my bios. tried different Nvidia drivers with a clean install and more. Nothing worked. I also tried a RTX 3090 in a different PC and had similar crashes (unfortunately not something I caught on camera though). So what's my solution? I made a knee jerk purchase of the XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 9070XT OC White Magnetic Air and I've swapped out to that. Clean installing the drivers, using new power cables (obviously) and crossing my fingers in hope.
