Peach Cobbler Ingredients 8 large peaches (peeled and cut) ½ cup white sugar ½ cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon cornstarch ¼ cup butter The Crust 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt ½ cup melted butter 1 to 1 ½ cups milk Instruction In a large pot, combine peaches, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cornstarch, and butter. Cook on medium heat for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves and the peaches release their juices. Continue cooking until the peaches are tender and a thick syrup forms, then set aside. For the crust, mix flour, baking powder, salt, butter, and milk in a large bowl until well combined. Spread the crust evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then spoon the peaches on top without stirring to prevent the crust from covering them. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean and the cobbler is golden brown.
