So this year I want to make an effort in reacting to more female rockers. Joan Jett is one of them that I have been wanting to take a listen to for a while. I've seen her face a few times but had never really heard her voice before. It was nice to be able to put a voice to the face. I Love Rock 'N Roll seemed to me like the perfect radio song. It was short and sweet and had that catchy hook that undoubtedly would have been stuck in people's heads. I'm hoping as we listen to more from Joan Jett & The Blackhearts we get to hear more vocals like she displayed on I Love Rock 'N Roll. There is something really cool about them!
