The Muslims faced not only physical torture but also social boycott, financial loss, and life-threatening situations. Under these harsh conditions, the Prophet ﷺ permitted some of his companions to migrate to a safer land. --- 🕊️ The First Migration to Abyssinia: The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is a king in Abyssinia (Africa) under whom no one is wronged. Go there until Allah provides you relief from your difficulties.” (Seerat Ibn Hisham) In the 5th year of Prophethood, a small group of 11 men and 4 women set out for Abyssinia (present-day Ethiopia/Eritrea). 💠 Prominent Companions in This Caravan: Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Ruqayyah (RA), daughter of the Prophet ﷺ and wife of Uthman (RA) Mus'ab ibn Umair (RA) Abdur Rahman ibn Awf (RA) Abu Salamah (RA) and his wife Umm Salamah (RA) --- 🌊 The Second Migration: As persecution intensified, a second group of 83 men and 18 women later migrated to Abyssinia. --- 🤝 The Justice of King Najashi: The Quraysh sent envoys to Abyssinia, including Amr ibn al-As, carrying lavish gifts to convince the king to expel the Muslims. However, Ja'far ibn Abi Talib (RA) spoke eloquently on behalf of the Muslims, reciting verses from Surah Maryam and explaining the Islamic view of Jesus (AS). King Najashi was so moved that he said: “What has been revealed to your Prophet and what was revealed to Jesus are like rays from the same lamp.” He granted protection to the Muslim migrants and rejected the Quraysh delegation, sending them back empty-handed. --- 🌿 Lessons: 1. Trust in Allah: Even in difficult circumstances, Allah provides a path of safety and ease for His believers. 2. The Value of Justice: A non-Muslim king aided Muslims purely out of justice and fairness—showcasing the universal ethical values of Islam. 3. Wisdom in Dawah (Invitation to Islam): Ja’far (RA)’s eloquence and knowledge emphasized the power of wise speech and understanding when presenting the truth. --- If you wish, I can also prepare a simplified version of this story for children or tailor it as a Friday Khutbah (sermon). #poshtobayan #molanaidreespashtobayan #islamicstory #islamicvideo #youtubevideo #asia #IslamicStories #StoriesOfTheProphets #IslamicReminders #ProphetMuhammad #Seerah #HadithStories #QuranStories #IslamicHistory #LessonsFromIslam #IslamicMiracles #ProphetMuhammadPBU #LifeOfTheProphet #SunnahOfTheProphet #SirahNabawiyah #LoveForProphet #RasoolAllah 🌿 صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کا افریقہ (حبشہ) کی طرف ہجرت کا واقعہ (اسلامی تاریخ کا ایک ایمان افروز باب) --- 🌟 پس منظر: جب نبی کریم ﷺ نے مکہ مکرمہ میں اسلام کی دعوت دی، تو قریش کے سرداروں نے اسلام قبول کرنے والوں پر ظلم و ستم شروع کر دیا۔ مسلمان نہ صرف جسمانی اذیتوں کا نشانہ بنے بلکہ معاشرتی بائیکاٹ، مالی نقصان اور جانی خطرات سے بھی دوچار ہوئے۔ ان حالات میں نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنے بعض صحابہ کو ایک محفوظ مقام کی طرف ہجرت کی اجازت دی۔ --- 🕊️ حبشہ کی طرف پہلی ہجرت: نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: حبشہ (افریقہ) کا بادشاہ نجاشی ایک عادل بادشاہ ہے، وہاں کوئی ظلم نہیں ہوتا، تم وہاں چلے جاؤ یہاں تک کہ اللہ تمہیں کوئی آسانی عطا کرے۔" (سیرت ابن ہشام) سن 5 نبوی میں 11 مردوں اور 4 عورتوں پر مشتمل پہلا قافلہ حبشہ (موجودہ ایتھوپیا/ایریٹریا) کی طرف روانہ ہوا۔ 💠 اس قافلے میں شامل نمایاں صحابہ: حضرت عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت رقیہ رضی اللہ عنہا (نبی ﷺ کی صاحبزادی اور حضرت عثمان کی زوجہ) حضرت مصعب بن عمیر رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت عبد الرحمن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت ابو سلمہ اور ان کی زوجہ حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا --- 🌊 دوسری ہجرت: جب کفار کا ظلم بڑھا تو کچھ عرصے بعد 83 مرد اور 18 عورتوں نے حبشہ کی طرف دوسری ہجرت کی۔ --- 🤝 نجاشی بادشاہ کا انصاف: قریش نے حبشہ کے بادشاہ نجاشی کے پاس اپنے سفیر (عمرو بن العاص) کو قیمتی تحائف کے ساتھ بھیجا تاکہ وہ مہاجرین کو واپس کر دے۔ لیکن حضرت جعفر بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے مسلمانوں کی طرف سے بہت مدلل انداز میں بات کی، اور سورہ مریم کی آیات پڑھ کر حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کا تذکرہ کیا۔ نجاشی اتنا متاثر ہوا کہ اس نے فرمایا: جو کچھ تمہارے نبی پر نازل ہوا، اور جو کچھ عیسیٰ علیہ السلام پر نازل ہوا، دونوں ایک ہی چراغ کی روشنی ہیں۔" نجاشی نے مہاجرین کو پناہ دی اور قریش کے قاصدوں کو خالی ہاتھ واپس کر دیا۔ --- 🌿 سبق: 1. اللہ پر بھروسہ: جب حالات ناموافق ہوں، تب بھی اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں کو محفوظ راستے دکھاتا ہے۔ 2. عدل کی قدر: ایک غیر مسلم بادشاہ نے عدل اور حق کی بنیاد پر مسلمانوں کی مدد کی، یہ اسلام کی بین الاقوامی اقدار کا ثبوت ہے۔ 3. دعوت اور حکمت: حضرت جعفر رضی اللہ عنہ کی گفتگو نے حکمت اور علم کی طاقت کو واضح کیا۔ --- اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں یہ واقعہ بچوں کے لیے مختصر انداز میں یا خطبہ جمعہ کے لیے بھی تیار کر سکتا ہوں۔
