Hawaiʻi Nui Kuauli Credits This has been a work in progress. A very special kumuhana. In March of this year, every single one of our lives changed. We were forced to stay in doors, to protect ourselves and loved ones, jobs were lost, businesses closed, and all along our first responders were out there putting their lives and household at risk being on the front lines. Essential workers, Hawai'i Police, Hawai'i Fire, Hospital Staff, Teachers still teaching, Electrical, Water, Safety all of the above. And so it is with ALOHA I dedicate this work to each of you. In addition to our HERO'S, this is also dedicated to every single one of you. This year I have lost, won, failed, cried, laughed, loved, but I didn't give up, I didn't fold. My Aunty Carol Makainai who is now a resident of Utah, we love you all and miss you and Hawaiʻi is always your home (dedicated to every single person who left Hawaiʻi-this will always be your home), The Forges ʻOhana Kapeka Forges my little mini me , Kaʻilihiwa Haʻehaʻe Forges was such a heartbreaker literally I cried seeing her on the screen!!!! Uncle Kalani MakaʻĪnaʻi has been a Kapena in Ka waha o ka Manō since before I was even born lol. Like many amazing lawaiʻa and watermen on this side, he knows every poepoe, ever drop off point, breeding site, and more - not gonna say too much here, but you see him driving the little boat in the beginning. Since I was a child his makana was ALWAYS fish he caught and sometimes he would bring me limu too!!! Uncle Kimo Adams, our famous lei maker and Lāʻau Lapaʻau , love you so much!
