Well, what better way to say this is my Youtube page, and welcome to it - then to present an episode of the short lived show "My World, and Welcome to It". This was a very clever comedy of the 1969 - 70 season, based on the stories, inspirational pieces, cartoons, and things that go bump in the night of James Thurber', starring William Windom as a Thuberish cartoonist John Monroe, with a wife, daughter and dog, all of which gave him material for asides to the camera. The show featured Windom talking to his cartoons, which sprang to life via then cutting edge animation used to represent his imagination. This episode called "The Middle Years" First Aired: 1/26/1970, guest stars lovely Lee Merriwether as a new neighbor - and unknowing temptress -who moves in just as John's wife and daughter leave for an overnight trip. A bonus find for TV fans is actor/director Noam Pitlik as a mover who further complicates John's life as his imagination runs overtime watching Miss Merriwether.
