Lost in The Kruger | Sliding Through the Gate in the Nick of Time... AGAIN!

Before leaving Olifants we went on a river safari walk and got to spend some time with HIPPOS! Such a cool experience to be with hippopotamus on foot. YIKES! They kill more people than any other people on the continent. We had our guides so we felt wonderful and safe... after the river walk we took off for Satara Rest Camp, and got totally lost along the way. On the upside as we were rushing to make it to the gate before closing time we found LIONS! What an incredible first full day on safari. Self drive at the Kruger is the BEST!!! I have always been more at home out in nature than anywhere else. I feel very passionately about sharing my experiences in nature with the world. Every image I create is closely connected to my personal interpretation of how I see, or would like to see world around me. I see inspiration in everything, and hope to inspire others by sharing my experiences. My goal is to create meaningful fine art photographs that are artistically inspired, thoughtfully conceived, and technically executed to the highest standards I use photography to find the hidden truths that lie within humanity and the hidden and unhidden beautiful world we live in. I love seeking out new perspectives and different ways to interpret the world we live in. As well as using my artistic eye I use additional tools such as underwater housings and cameras, drones, wide angle, telephoto and macro lenses. Seeing things not commonly viewable to the naked eye excites me!.
