We worked with Andeanfaces, a local guiding company. This film documents our multi-week journey to acclimatize and climb in the "Avenue of the Volcanoes." The adventure begins with a series of acclimatization hikes before we tackle our first major objective: the 19,347 ft active volcano, Cotopaxi. We navigate deep crevasses and don gas masks to push through sulfurous fumes to its stunning summit. But the expedition didn't stop there. We then faced a challenging attempt on the remote and technical Antisana before setting our sights on the ultimate prize: a grueling ascent of Chimborazo. From lush waterfalls to barren volcanic slopes and sprawling glaciers, this is a film about pushing our limits in the thin air of the Ecuadorian Andes.
